Craft Time Big Fun!!!

Good Morning Ladies, it's craft time once again. So many times we see craft ideas for our preschoolers or younger children, but what about our pre teen and teens? They like to be crafty and creative too. This idea is for them and if you all would like it is wonderful for us too. I am going to give a step by step guide to making something beautiful and useful. This craft idea can be used for decoration, flowers, or whatever else you decide on. it's called Wrapped Bottles, simple name for a wonderful idea. Instead of throwing out all those glass bottles or jars we are going to re purpose them and do so in a lovely way. Pay attention because here we go.

Materials Needed:

Assorted wool of varying width and material
adhesive glue
Paint brush
Scissors
Assorted empty bottles

Step 1:   Choose your wool colors

I personally like pretty bright colors, but I would say it depends on where and how you plan to use them.

Step 2:  Use the paint brush to apply the glue to bottle (don't use the roll on glue)

Step 3:    Start wrapping the wool keeping all joins at the back

Step 4:  Keep wrapping all the way to the top

Some tips on these steps:
  1. Don’t put too much glue on the bottle at one time as it tends to dry and you have to re-glue instead of just adding glue
  2.  Make sure you keep all of the ends at the back so that three sides are completely even and pretty
  3. Use varying widths of colours for a nice contrast
  4. Mix in some glittery wool for extra added sparkle
Once you have completed Steps 1 – 4, you just have two more things to do:

Step 5: Fill with whatever you like and enjoy!! Oh and as always "Enjoy your day!"
